Ven. Zasep Rinpoche's March Zuru Ling Schedule

Tues. Mar. 23rd 2010, 7.00pm - 9.00pm
Ven. Zasep Rinpoche will give the "Lung" or "Mantra Transmission" and commentary on the meditation and practice of the deity Black Manjushri. Black Manjushri is a manifestation of the Buddha of Wisdom and is considered a "Healing Buddha". Black Manjushri counters and heals many diseases, particularly, infectious ones.

Wed. Mar. 24th, 7.00-9.00pm - Rinpoche will bestow the Kriya Tantra Je-nang Empowerment of 4 - Armed Chenrezig or Avalokitesvara, the Buddha of Compassion. Commitments for taking this initiation and the Bodhisattva Vow with its branch precepts.

Fri., Mar. 26th, 7.00-9.00pm - Rinpoche will give a commentary of the AnuttaraYoga Tantric practice of "Tsog" or "Feast Offerings" - a core committment and offering for Highest Yoga Tantra practitioners. Suggested prerequisite is having had a Buddhist Highest Yoga Tantric Empowerment.

Rinpoche will teach and give commentary on the founder of our Gelugpa Buddhist Tradition, Je Tsongkhapa's famed text, "Lam Rim Chenmo" or "Gradutated Path to Enlightenment". Lam Rim Chenmo, the core text and pedagogical foundation for the Gelugpa tradition is a graduated educational or training manual on how one achieves full enlightenment in the Buddhist faith. We are so fortunate to receive these practical and precious teachings from Rinpoche.
